Performance Plus Kids is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing free pediatric physical therapy for children and teens (ages 18 and under) from families experiencing financial hardship.
At Performance Plus Kids, our mission is to help children with physical or developmental challenges improve mobility, build strength, and gain independence—so they can thrive in everyday life.
Unfortunately, many families face financial barriers that make access to physical therapy out of reach. Without early intervention, these challenges can lead to long-term disabilities, ongoing health complications, and increased medical costs.
That’s why we provide our pediatric physical therapy services completely free of charge—because every child deserves the opportunity to move with freedom, grow with confidence, and reach their full potential.
About The Program
Patient-Centered Care
Our licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy are dedicated to providing personalized Pediatric Physical Therapy sessions. We focus on targeting specific motor impairments, enhancing mobility, and nurturing independence in everyday activities. Our therapists use a combination of proven techniques and customized therapeutic approaches that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
Education and Tools
We supply parents and families with the tools they need to support their child's development at home! We'll cover everything from home exercise programs and adaptive equipment usage to advocacy skills. Let's work together to provide knowledge, resources, and strategies for supporting every child's growth and well-being.
Continually Improved Care
We assess the effectiveness of our program using both quantitative and qualitative measures. This includes standardized assessments, satisfaction surveys, and monitoring functional outcomes. By gathering data on key performance indicators—such as motor skills development, functional mobility, and caregiver confidence—we can evaluate the impact of our services and identify areas for improvement to ensure the best quality care.
